I saw this documentary last year about a British spy in the early 70’s who was on a mission somewhere in the Caribbean and had a tarot reader give him a read. I’m pretty sure that tarot reader also drew the death card and this spy didn’t die but ended up sleeping with the Tarot reader instead. He was up to visit his parents a few years ago and we got together for a drink, as I hadn't seen him in a decade or more. Politics came up and I asked him how he could justify supporting this terrible person. He said "better than the alternative... Man, we actually had a n*** in the white house".

It was the last time I ever spoke to him.
