Seems there was a Spanish map that identified the Gulf as Gulf Of Mexico that was drawn a few hundred years before the US existed. Also: the same map identified the land we are on as "Mexican America".

From what I was heard on a report everting along the PCH from Malibu to Santa Monica is gone. Could be not 100% true but from the looks of that video it might be?

I worked in Calabasas for about 10 months back in 2005 which is a stone's throw from Malibu. One October morning at about 4 am, police knocked on my door to tell me to evacuate as there was a wildfire raging close by.

Lived in so Cal for a bit ( Westminster/Huntington Beach), and we went up the PCH in that area many times. Such a beautiful area

And very packed with people.
