Think it kicks in Feb. 20 or around there.

I don’t think his seat is really in play regardless, I think more of the reason for the delay is that a lot of his members pensions kick in later in the year and their seats aren’t as safe. Ditto for the Liberals - they may want to see Justin resign but they want to do their big 6 month leadership race too and have the election in October so most of their pensions kick in as well.

If anything changed it’s probably that the NDP realizes the events of the last week are reflecting as badly or worse on them than the Liberals and that means people who had a good shot at re-election are suddenly much more concerned about the safety of their seat. Every interview and conference Jagmeet gave this week sounded worse and worse.
