If they call an election this week they can still have a January vote and not have this drag too deeply into Trump’s term.

Regardless of feelings having the current government lead Canada into dealing with Trump 2.0 is a terrifying prospect. Can’t think of a weaker position to negotiate from.

Economically this is terrifying. And I blame Jagmeet way more thank Justin. Regardless of whether it’s actually because of his pension or because of the political reality that his party will not have any say in a future government, minority governments aren’t supposed to survive conditions like those we’ve had the past few months. Today is his lack of action absolutely blowing up in his face.
