Thing for Justin is resign to what? PM’s of yore resigned and went on to join law firms and lobby groups. Think tanks. You name it. They were good to go once they left.

Justin has nothing. He’s not a lawyer, he’s clearly clueless about anything financial. Maybe some climate organization or something like that would want him but he may be more poisonous to them than helpful.

So he’s going to clutch and grab as long as he can in the hopes that he can somehow turn it around because the narcissism knows no ends and Jagmeet quite clearly is not going to make a move until his pension qualifies.

The only stone left to turn is if the party completely turns on him and votes no confidence on themselves. It would likely mean the end of the party and almost certainly make re-election impossible for most of them but maybe these resignations make that easier to sell to the public.
