There's a nice store here in the Cowichan Valley called Pots and Paraphernalia and they carry these Swiss Diamond pans which I am quite pleased with.

lol they are all awful.
I bought some called Blue Diamond last year. Within weeks there was a spot where stuff was stuck on. I did end up getting it off using Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, but that was too much work and it stuck so easily - I donated them and got a different brand. Which are OK-ish.

I actually bought a stainless steel pan at Aldi for $19 which is the best pan I've ever used in my life as long as you heat it up properly, then add the oil or butter to the temperature desired and then cook in it

The hex clad ones are supposed to be good but I can't see spending that kind of money

I actually buy almost all of my pots and pans from Ikea or Aldi and they work just as well as the higher end sets I have gotten like Calphalon or others.

And they are cheap enough that I don't feel guilty just tossing them if they start getting gunked up. My Ikea wok has been going strong for 6 years.

In all seriousness Magic Eraser works great at getting stuck on food off while not harming a pan's coating.
