So Junior dumps her, she threatens to spill lots of beans, Trump takes care of her by giving her a cushy not important ambassadorship.

Tidy bit of business.
I can't imagine being ambassador to a broke ass country is going to be very lucrative. She should have just asked for cash.

Well since she's going to be the ambassador to Greece, I think we should start calling her Medusa as a tribute to Greek mythology

The first line is okay, but they buried the lead lol

The Bank of Canada lowered its interest rate by 50-basis points to 3.25 per cent on Wednesday but signalled a slower pace of rate cuts moving forward.

Economists were largely expecting another weighty cut following a quarterly GDP report that saw growth come in below the central bank's projection and a jobs report that showed an uptick in the unemployment r
ate.

"In Canada, the economy grew by 1% in the third quarter, somewhat below the Bank’s October projection, and the fourth quarter also looks weaker than projected. Third-quarter GDP growth was pulled down by business investment, inventories and exports.".

Oh good, just those irrelevant things. I’m sure that’ll rebound with all the tariff talk.

There’s word that the deficit which was supposed to be $40 billion is actually $60 billion. We’ll find out when we get out “fall” economic update next week but Freeland’s press conference yesterday where she dodged questions about the deficit 30 times and kept referring to debt-to-GDP instead is pretty much confirming that.

Speaking of Freeland, she apparently disagreed strongly about the stupid GST break and rebate cheques and either her or someone in her office leaked that disagreement to the press. This would make her the second finance minister of Justin’s to basically call his economic decisions insane.

And to boot, Justin went and did this last night for some completely idiotic reason:

Even if you’re of the opinion that Polievre and the Conservatives are somehow going to be worse than this I think we need to rip the band aid off and get the obvious over with. At the very worst, the sooner we do it the shorter we have to deal with either of Justin or Pierre if he’s a one term PM. Pushing this to next October seems crazy.

The economic update will be the last chance Jagmeet has to pull support and force an election before February and I think it’s pretty clear it’s what the public wants.

What about non-stick pans?

I got sucked in years ago on that Gotham steel commercial and bought those ceramic nonstick pans, they went in the garbage a month later
