Love the inane responses that these tariffs will force more production in the US.

Guess what will happen, prices will go up as the labor and material costs for those items that have to be imported will go up.
And I hope all those MAGA's will want work for pennies on the dollar to mass produce these items sold at Wal-Mart.

And if you have a competitive American product...you'd raise your prices to just below the tariffed ones

From what I'm seeing, the economy is chugging along, but all of the profit is just going to the top.

GM is another good example from last week. Laying off 1,000 people as a cost cutting measure, after recently announcing a $6 billion share buyback program. And massive exec bonuses of course.

Not sure what the solution is, as the people with the $$$ are building the system to ensure they continue to get more, more, more.
And of course own the media so they can message it how they want.
Lack of critical thinking make sure we eat it all up, and gutting the education system makes sure there is a continuous supply of idiots to vote against their own self interests.

More proof there is enough $$ to go around...
