God damn it, we are so stupid...

The only province where you need a measles vaccination to attend school is Manitoba.

There’s no federal vaccine requirements for children.

Also, like with earlier outbreaks of seemingly eradicated diseases this most likely is spreading through an immigrant community where people don’t have access to these vaccines or where vaccine skepticism is far more prevalent than here.

Like Canadians making fun of the US for wanting to get rid of fluoride in their water when most of our major cities don’t fluoridate our water. Everyone needs to take a deep breath.

I think there's a pretty big difference between not putting fluoride in the water and a measles outbreak, but maybe that's just me :noidea:

No I also got that you're pretty much blaming immigrants for a measles outbreak with no real proof which is pretty much right out of the Fox News playbook.

Still American but it’s definitely a cause.

Also, I don’t blame anybody for getting sick. People get sick, it’s not a blame game when it happens. But I’m general this is pretty rare among Canadians and when cases do flare up the large cohort of unvaccinated people who are newer to this country tends to be where spread is occurring. Nobody’s blaming them but your post was pretty quick to blame unvaccinated Canadians and maybe the leader of the opposition?

Well, when the leader of the opposition is spotted walking with convoy truckers and supporting their cause, you tell me where you think he falls regarding people get vaccinated?

Posted for no particular reason:

“Province has added more people in 24 months than in previous 29 years”
if I sold my house I could buy 8 average homes in NB for the average sale price. I do not doubt why alot of people are going there but what are the job prospects. or is just retirement peoples

Compared to Ontario which takes in close to 200,000 immigrants. Or Quebec which takes in 60,000 to 70,000. Every year.

But yeah it's the immigrants. SMH.

A friend of mine works for a national mechanical company.

Their two hottest markets right now are Calgary and Moncton.

Make of that what you will. FWIW NB is really nice and relatively peaceful and it’s a close flight to major eastern markets. You just have to sell your soul to Irving.

Isn't every issue across the earth either caused by Immigrants or the US Democratic Party?
I think the prevalence of disease in the third world has roots a bit further back.

Cecil Rhodes was a big DEI guy though from what I hear.

Also for no reason whatsoever, from a peer reviewed article:

  • Individuals aged 19 and under who were born in Canada were less susceptible compared to those born outside Canada.
  • Individual aged 20 and over born in Canada were more susceptible compared to those born outside Canada.

Population immunity to measles in Canada using Canadian Health Measures survey data – A Canadian Immunization Research Network (CIRN) study - PMC

Seems like no real discernible difference between those born abroad and those born in Canada.

Who is this Irving and can he be bought with Hebrew National Hot Dogs?

Asking for a frie- well, it's me. I am looking at jobs in the Maritimes and/or National jobs that allow remote work.
