They may be just as surprised at this as the Donald is. Kinda hard to think with all the data people they have, but they also couldn't have predicted how that Nazi rally at MSG really turned people off.

This is my local Board of Elections. I started to drive by after practice today, but Google Maps said I would be in traffic for over an hour to get there, so I didn't go. They is in a shopping center in a building that used to be a Kohls. There are 2 other shopping centers adjacent on the same side of the road, as well as 2 more across the street. Every single parking spot was taken. The main road was simply closed because so many people were just stopping.

The line itself was 3 hours. It was over 3 hours yesterday. The longest wait for Biden was an hour and a half. I waited in line for 2 during the Obama election. Turnout is mind boggling. I heard from someone that the next 'burb county up is the same story. Just insanity.

Not so much that they are unprepared, but it's by design. In order to suppress the vote, Republicans in the Ohio house ruled that there should only be one early voting location per county. Doesn't make much of a difference in places along the Ohio River or the farmlands where only15 thousand people live.. But Franklin County is closing in on 1.5m people.

When Ohio fixes Gerrymandering, they'll be able to fix much more.

My state is not anywhere close to a swing state and lines were really long. The day I was there a poll worker told another that in other years they averaged 300-400 early voters each day. They day I was there they had 1300 by noon.

Not really sure why. Maybe a close-ish senate race or an abortion bill.
