Right here, literally a few miles from me, is a giant construction site that will be an Intel chip plant in 2026. The jobs coming to it will not benefit me, but my house value will likely double by the time it opens when people start moving here for it (and I can cash out and move to the lake). It will provide a ton of really well paying job opportunities for my kids, and the kids of every one of my friends.
