Facebook and Instagram are not even close to the worst, but they are doing this. Social media sites do not care what content they feed you or what effect said content has on you. All they care about is keeping your eyes on the screen so they make ad dollars. And they know the psychology behind making it happen. Kids aren't the only victims.

Of course, if we had adequate mental health care in this country the impact could be lessened.
