I loved the film Karate Kid and when I originally learned that a series was being made based off the 80s film, I was skeptical at first. I saw a trailer and thought I would give it a shot and watch it. I have watched every episode and love it. I really enjoy how they focus on Daniel and Johnny's past (flashbacks) from the movie.
Any idea if and when they will have a season3? My only wish would be to bring my childhood crush Elisabeth Shue Allie) somehow in season3.

I wouldn’t be shocked if it were released in April like they did the previous seasons.

You're right they wouldn't have known the sides. But what they would have seen was a guy in his mid 30s going from one pairing to the next and instead of trying to break it up, was suckering one teenager, leaving one alone and then moving on to the next pair.

One thing I noticed is that they didn’t say that the release date was January 6 anymore, just coming in January. So I wonder how much of a delay it’ll be. But I thought that the trailer was fantastic.

I've just been watching older movies that I either haven't seen in a while or not at all. I've watched a few shows on Netflix but left off halfway during season one of Mindhunter that I just never had the energy to get through.

I rewatched Ash vs Evil Dead a few weeks ago and enjoyed it as much as I remembered. There's still Mindhunter, Altered Carbon, Ozark and Last Kingdom on Netflix I've never gotten around to watching and on Amazon Prime, I'd like to watch Jack Ryan and Vikings.

Just finished binging it. It starts slow the first two or three episodes but then I thought it was really good from when Daniel meets Chozen until the end. Better than season two and on par with season one in my opinion.

I really enjoyed The Liberator on Netflix. If you are looking for a pretty fun small series.

Just finished S3. Certainly better than S2. The strength of the show, imho, is the dynamic between Daniel and Johnny. The kids are the set dressing. S2 abandoned that and decided to make the focus on the kids.
