I wish they would hire the OU coach....not likely but that would be a good hire IMO

I really wish they would hire Mike Singletary for DC and LB coach. Lord knows our LB'ers need a little Mike in their ear.

Best rumor I've heard is the ravens DC who would bring the LSU passing coordinator along as OC

I'm so glad Garrett is gone but let's not ever forget how he turned the culture of this team around. He may not be the greatest HC but he is a great man and role model and let's hope the team keeps doing things the "right way" the other 6 days a week.

you most likely are correct but I prefer a coach who's word is solid. McDaniels gave his word and took it back with Indy. Not a good look and a sign of poor character to me.

Besides...rumor has it if McDaniels took a job, he wants to bring a patriots guy for the front office to do things the patriots way. Not a good look at all IMO.

I agree but it was reported he said he wanted this guy to do things "The Patriots Way"

That was a stupid ass thing to say if true and a clear sign he needs to wait for the Pats head job to open up, or take the Cleveland deal

Are you fucking kidding me? McCarthy is hardly any better than Garrett. They both run bullshit schemes that don't scheme WRs open.

I've always liked McCarthy and while I would have preferred at least talking to Martindale and Riley I'm good with this hire. I hope he brings in a new DC and we overhaul the schemes on both sides of the ball.

My favorite quote that I read from McCarthy was him saying 'he got away from motion and using multiple sets and it cost him and he won't do that again'.

Rodgers said McCarthy was the dumbest coach he's ever had. Would frequently have the Packers in the wrong sets and plays rarely worked in practice. Rodgers bailed him out for years. This dude sucks. I rather we had kept Garrett. But as usual, I'm gonna defend the flag and hope for the best anyway.
