As I understand it if the Panthers promote Evero and the Commanders promote Bieniemy neither team gets a 3rd round pick. If the Panthers hire Bienemy as HC and the Commanders hire Evero both team teams get 2 X 3rd round picks. Could they do that, then trade HCs, and keep the picks? Devious minds need to know.

It's my understanding that to qualify for a comp pick, the minority coach/executive must have been on the team for 2 years before he left. That would mean that neither Evero nor Bienemy qualify to get their old teams a comp since they've only been on their respective teams for 1 year.
