Canales, 42, went from strength coach at USC with Pete Carroll to Seattle receivers coach in 2010. He stayed with the Seahawks through 2022, finishing his stint as quarterbacks coach. He worked as an offensive coordinator for only one year.

Did Belicheater's last couple of years in NE really hurt his coaching legacy that much? So much that he might not end up with a HC job this year? I get that he's old, but 3 or 4 years of Bill will definitely improve your defense and probably your result. I get the reluctance to hire him if he is demanding full control over the organization, and demanding to bring back in Patricia and McFailure, but are those really his demands? Or is this some pushback from the FO people in various organizations who are trying like hell to keep their jobs?

Im pretty sure if Belichick saw Carolinas area code on his phone he didnt answer the call

If I had to guess:
Ben Johnson to Commanders
Belichick to Atlanta
Vrabel to Seattle
Yea no one with real options wanted the Carolina job.

As for the rest, the commies look like the best option (cap space, draft, owner).

I agree. Johnson to Commies.
I agree Belicheater to Atlanta.
I think Quinn ends up in Seattle. If not Quinn, I could easily see McDonald landing there.

I think Houston and Bmore would have to be ecstatic to hold onto some of their coordinators.

If the Falcons liked Raheem Morris so much, why didn’t they hire him 3 years ago after he was the interim coach? Just makes Arthur Blank and company look clueless, which I think they are. I’m not really sure what Morris brings to the table, and he didn’t do well at all in Tampa as a head coach. That being said, I‘m glad it’s not Belichick, the guy has not won shit without Brady and it’s clear he wanted too much control over the Falcons roster, despite doing a shitty job with the Pats roster over the last few years.

What team really wants him? I don't think he has as much value to current owners. Whether he says it or not, he'll want significant control over roster and coaching staff and he hasn't shown much in those areas over the past decade. He had a chance to start from scratch after Brady and he hasn't been able to develop a winning roster. I think an owner might bite if they wanted to make a splash to get butts back in seats, but if it were my team, I'd rather start over with a young coach.
