Fangio is a great hire. I’m not so sure about Kellen Moore though. I feel like he should’ve gotten a lot more out of Herbert and the charges offense.
Moore's major problem is his predictability.I'm on record as saying they should have fired the head coach and started over, but given Sirianni's rather shaky status, I think Philly did OK with Fangio and Moore as coordinators. I AM worried about Moore's tendency to abandon the run though, which as you Cowboys fans know, is one of the knocks on the guy. But his pass offense should be an improvement and he has some weapons in Philly.
Those on the Cowboys board know I was never in Moore's corner.

I agree. Hurtt was a terrible D.C. But as a Dline coach and with the talent the Eagles have at that position group, he's probably not a terrible hire. Dline is his best spot, imo.I don't understand the Eagles decision to hire coaches from the Seahawks defense. Add Fangio to the mix and they now have 3 new coaches whose 2023 motto was "don't tackle".
I’m just glad that the Eagles have two professionals among their coordinators this year. You live through the malpractice I observed this year and it changes your goals and perspectives. In his time as OC, Moore has had 3 top 6 offenses. Moore is still young and developing as a coach. I’m hoping access to having Stoudtland on staff opens up his perspective on run game and how to make that work. Fangio is a teacher and he’s really good at what he does. At first, I was worried about reports out of Miami that Fangio wasn’t liked. Then I looked into it further and no one went on the record. It was all anonymous stuff and some of what was groused about was how much film they watched. Da fuq? That’s your job! If that’s why they didn’t like him, I’m feeling pretty good.It feels like the Eagles are component shopping. It's like building a computer with the best motherboard, best processor, best hard drive, etc. Maybe it works, but maybe the whole won't match the sum of the parts.
What an absolutely stupid hire by the Steelers. Their offense has struggled for the past couple of years, and so they bring in a guy who had no clue how to use the weapons the Falcons had and ran a weak offense. What the fuck are they thinking? Kenny Pickett has no chance of much success with Arthur dipshit Smith as his OC. I would be furious if I were a Steelers fan.Steelers are expected to hire Arthur Smith as offensive coordinator
