The story on NBC Sports states Love is interested in the GSW, Bulls, Celts, Knicks, and Lakers. I suppose anyone that is going to increase his salary. I think alot of it a smokescreen for a lot of reasons.

Byron Scott seems to be the frontrunner at the moment but we all know that means nothing really.
I like the fact he's said the first person he wants to talk to is Kobe about the team: Byron Scott says he is 'perfect guy' for Los Angeles Lakers' coaching job - ESPN Los Angeles
"Obviously, if I get the job, the first conversation I have is with Kobe," said Scott, who spent last season as an analyst for Time Warner Cable SportsNet, the Lakers' television partner. "We have to talk about the future of the Los Angeles Lakers. We have to also talk about which type of direction we'll be taking and also talk about the type of game that he's going to be playing because he's going to have to change his game a little bit, and I think he knows that.
At this point I'd be good with anyone except D'Antoni
I suppose now that the Lakers have become impressed with Lionel Hollins and he has Kobe's blessing. There are articles suggesting that the Lakers were leaning toward B. Scott and then they decided to interview Lionel Hollins, which according to the article at Yahoo Sports, has not occurred yet. Interesting indeed.
