1) Exec extensions mean nothing.

Mercifully I was at work and didn't get to see the game but a blogger I occasionally listen to said the last half of the third period was basically a fire Hynes chant, which after having the misfortune to see all the other games this year including the opening night blown 4 goal lead debacle in-person I have to support

I’m not sure any coach is going to make that team competitive. Too many bloated contracts underperforming, no depth, and two sieve goalies.

I think he’s doing a solid job positioning the Sharks for a quality draft spot.
