Seems legit. What else would we expect for this team. This is who MLB has umping home plate in a playoff race?

Until he's standing at home plate in the WS you have zero to crow about. He's doing exactly what everyone thought he'd do.How about that Mitch Haniger guy? Pretty good addition to the lineup, I'd say.
What was odd about that streak was they didn't all look like they were only swinging for HR's. They were stacking up base hits and keeping rallies going.I was worried that getting our "top hitters together for the first time in like 180 days" would cause the team to stop hitting, this team has always done better when someone's down and the rest of the team is carrying them. like Griffey in 95. Its like when one is out of the lineup everyone else works a little harder to make up for it and when we get our top hitters together everyone relaxes.
That and I think that 14 game win streak wore these guys out and they still haven't recovered yet.
They opted to go the pitching and defense route, which is fine. These can get you far too, not just offense. So the cry for more offensive help when they have top tier pitching and defense is an odd one.Until he's standing at home plate in the WS you have zero to crow about. He's doing exactly what everyone thought he'd do.
It does not change how bad the rest of the lineup is and how much better the teams chances of going deep in the playoffs would be had they added something at the deadline.
Every single team they are up against did more at the deadline.
