Mancini
So adding him doesn't make us some juggernaut but adding nobody was okay? Hmmm.OK, he's been decent. 18 games .233 6HR 16 RBI 9R 2BB. And he's an everyday player, not just a guy you drop Dylan Moore for. He'd likely replace Winker regularly, right?
Winker last 18 games. .194 4HR 11RBI 12R 16BB
He's been slightly better than who he'd replace, but 2 HR and 5 RBI doesn't transform this team into some juggernaut.

And he would be a big improvement over Moore at the plate. And Mancini at DH is also a huge improvement. But okay.
That’d be like adding Carlos Santana 2.0 to the team. Their numbers are very similar.Worth a look?
He wasn't added he was already on the same team that has had a bottom offense the last two years. And if you took out time to stop patting yourself on the back you would realize nobody said him coming back wouldn't help. What was said, and proven, is he wasn't enough and he has not a guy you can count on to stay healthy. He might slide on the fold line and come down with an incurable rash putting him out for the year. I do enjoy your arrogance on the obvious though. That takes real fandom...I don't know if you were around or still on hiatus from being a fan, but a guy named Haniger was added to the lineup shortly after the break, and he's been pretty good.
You do understand that a .233 hitter can help. Suarez is a .227 hitter so...He would have been a slight improvement at DH probably, sure. Enough to warrant crying that the sky is falling because we didn't add a .233 hitter? I don't think so.
True but he would be 4th in homers and RBI's on this team so...That’d be like adding Carlos Santana 2.0 to the team. Their numbers are very similar.
This right here. Batting Average just isn’t an important stat to determine a hitters value these days. You do understand that a .233 hitter can help. Suarez is a .227 hitter so...
Mancini has hit 6 HR's and 16 RBI's since joining Astros. 18 Games Played. This right here. Batting Average just isn’t an important stat to determine a hitters value these days.
I’m still mad they didn’t address hitting at all. Even if Haniger is doing really good we needed moreMancini has hit 6 HR's and 16 RBI's since joining Astros. 18 Games Played.
Same time frame for Mariners:
Haniger 4 HR, 10 RBI
Suarez 5 HR, 14 RBI
Cal 3 HR, 5 RBI
JRod 2 HR, 7 RBI
France 1 HR, 8 RBI
I wasn't bitching at you just to be clear in any of my replies. You just posted good messages that were replyable (a new word).I’m still mad they didn’t address hitting at all. Even if Haniger is doing really good we needed more
Same with Lewis if he ever hits at the big club again.I’m still mad they didn’t address hitting at all. Even if Haniger is doing really good we needed more
Lewis makes me so sad because he was doing pretty good till the bitch ass Astros hit him in the headSame with Lewis if he ever hits at the big club again.
As long as we still have a bench full of sub mendoza hitters we have holes that even .230 hitters would have upgraded.
Every bit helps.
The apple and YouTube crap are really bad. There is no way I'd sub to any of them for a couple of games a year.Second game in a row having to deal with some crappy bullshit where you need a sub to a different platform just to watch? This is on top of already having to pay cable just to get Root?
This is unbelievable man.
