That was a big game. There will be more and some that are bigger before the regular season is over, but this was still a big game.

They are going to have to keep pitching nearly flawlessly to take the series given how much struggle they are still having at the plate.

Need to win more low scoring games this weekend.

Hey look, a Mitch Haniger HR.

Yeah that toe drag from the Cleveland dude was dirty as hell. Hope he gets a heater in the ribs tomorrow.

Fully expect to see Santana at 1B tomorrow and France DHing. A calf bruise should be OK to hit with and he needs at bats to work his way out of the hole he's been in lately. It's not like Jake Lamb is hitting his way into the lineup.

I feel like Evan White would hit similar to Kelenic if he gets called up, but France's August numbers are also basically Kelenic, so at least defensively he'd be good.
Mmmm...good..stuff...
But I wonder why...kelenic...can not get over...the ..hump.
???
I project...that he will..next year...but
I have to look..at the numbers..to see for
sure...what...he does not ..hit..and what he does
fan graphs..here i come...lolol
Stop..fantasy..trading kelenic...ok..ok.lolol

Why projections...lolo
winker..could project...to DH..
No longer one dimentional...
He is hitting right as well...as left
If that..then
kilinec..LF
Julio C.F.
trammell..#4th outfield
RF haniger..or????W inker there is no doubt they need..haniger..

Can Gilbert right the ship tonight? He's lead the team in hard hit balls since the AS break. I'd give the edge to Cleveland in this one, but would love to see Logan come back around tonight and establish himself for the run up to the post season.

Haniger winker...and I'm not sure if they
would need C onforto
If winker...hit..250 to 270..and I think..
He could..but Santana will..not work

And for at least...this year...conforto
Would work....and maybe going forward as well...im unsure though

A good prob to have...if they sign conforto...bringing up..kilinec..
Is a good thing.when..a guy on outfield
Is injured...lewis..as well...
That kind of depth...is why..
Mariners could.....world series..
At some point.....

And pitching has the same kind of depth..happening....

The biggest..needs for offseason..are infield.

It's almost as if they could have used a more splashy bat at the trade deadline.

Glad you are starting to see things our way.
If he (lamb) stays
...steady.
At 230 240...its .
fine..
Which his...history..is that..
Against...right handed...not left
Haggerty..is awsome..against..left handed

Both off the bench
The outfield...will take care of itself..at this point...
.....

Mitch Haniger has been plenty splashy.

Care to name that splashy bat we should have acquired to be a part time bench player instead of someone like Lamb?

Care to admit everyone on the board said mitch coming back was huge? You act like you were the only one who put value in his expected contributions.

All we said was we needed more in addition to that to not waste this stellar pitching staff and make a real run at not only breaking the playoff drought, but also being a threat to reach the WS.

We have seen that play out with putrid hitting that resulted in getting embarrassed by Oakland and settling for a split at home with a terrible Washington team.

The two added at the deadline are not going to help the weakest part of this team. That's a fact.

We are left to hope they get hot at the right time and get lucky for once if doing more than just breaking the drought is something that's even an option.
