A hilarious overpay. Mosley is a very good ILB, but he is not that good.

I can't wait to see how the contract is structured. If the Jets were smart, they would frontload the contract while also not spreading much of the signing bonus over the life of the contract. They have the money to do just that with a few free agents they choose to overpay this offseason.

They have a great LB core and solid secondary. I would think now they need to focus on DL and more weapons for Darnold especially a RB.

No team can be that stupid to pay a ILB that doesn't effect the QB $50 mil guaranteed...there will be a LOT of funny money (roster bonuses) in that contract for sure.

Yes and no...Yes...what happens when the next very good ILB is up for FA and his agent is looking at this deal...as the starting point.

Supposedly they offered him a bunch after Anthony Barr decided to stay in Minny but it looks like the Raiders are getting Bell.
This Mosley signing is bad, imo. Gross overpay for a guy that really is only okay as a run defender and nothing else. In this era, MLB's are needed to be more versatile, imo.
