Oh Matt Cain, where have you gone? We hardly recognize you on the mound anymore.

I think I am going to declare Cain and PV starts off days. I can't/shouldn't watch every game anyway, and I certainly don't want to miss Bum/JC/Sammy games...

Apparently, Vin Mazzaro may not be the 2016 version of George Kontos.

With the two errors this game, I'm surprised to see the box score ruling all runs earned. The last three should be unearned.

Yeah, can't do it. I just can't watch these guys right now. It hurts too much.

I thought that Mazzaro should just stay in for a couple of innings to save the bullpen. However, I'm not sure we will get out of the inning with him on the mound.

Well, two TD's and XP's for the Rox, and we have a measly FG.

Spahn and Sain and pray for rain was the old saw back in the day, right? Our #4 and #5 are complete disasters right now. Com-plete.
It is amazing how brutal Peavy and Cain starts are this year. I knew both had struggles, but this bad?!?

Must be hard, you know? They used to throw hard, and now they don't. Hitters are just teeing off on them. At least Huddy could sort of reinvent himself as a pitcher. Cain and PV seem to be trying to be 27 years old again, and it is not working.

I read an article where PV tried to be a power pitcher in CO after he saw Scrabble have his way with the ROX. PV has no arm for that sort of blow it by 'em anymore. PV confessed he changed his approach before the game. What does that tell us? :noidea:
