How does it feel to know the Indians bitch has more rings than your entire rotation?
The Braves have beat his brains in every time they've faced him too, and we have Dallas Keuchel.

Meh. Rings are overrated. When I got mine, the BJs I received immediately went from two a week to two a decade. How does it feel to know the Indians bitch has more rings than your entire rotation?
his last 11 starts:
3-3
2.24 ERA
.171 BAA
72 IP
44 hits
16 walks
6 HR
116 k's
This aged well
Rock’s Chris Sale posts always do. They’re like a fine bordeaux, they just get better and better with age.
3 bad starts.This aged well
3 bad starts.
still a 1.075 WHIP this year, which is about what he had in chicago.
hes on pace to throw 193 IP and fan 275 guys...
and go 5-14.
3 is a small sample size. i call it a blip for now. hes had 18 starts. hes given up 4+ ER 6 times. by comparison, max scherzer has started 19 games and done it twice. its the long ball. 1.3 HR/9 for sale is by far a career high. he has a chance to match his career high of 27 he gave up for chicago in 2016. he was at a 3.49 ERA before his last 3, which is ok.So, I guess we can put all that nonsense about "statistical trends" and "expecting it to continue" to bed now.
Just wait until Sale's annual pussy strain in August. He'll probably finish the season with 165 IP and 4 wins.

just a weird season.
no, its not useless at all. 4+ER is a measuring stick. sale has never gone 1 IP of 4 ER in a start here, so thats immaterial. The number of ER per start is a useless stat unless you provide the number of IP in said start.
4 ER in one IP is not the same as 4 ER in eight IP.

for your reference tho, sales had 2 starts where he didnt go at least 5 and gave up 4+ ER (opening day in seattle, for which i give a pass due to his lack of ST innings. 3 innings, 7 ER and 4 innings and 5 ER). scherzer hasnt done that yet, but came VERY close in 5.1 IP, 11 hits and 6 ER.
funny. i didnt say that. i was following your logic. The number of IP doesn't matter when saying how many ER a guy gives up in a start?
.
good comparison against another pitcher considered elite. And why do you keep bringing up Max Scherzer?
Ok, if you are going to say something and then not stand by it and tapdance around it and not answer the obvious elephant in the room.funny. i didnt say that. i was following your logic.
i stood by it with metrics which i posted. you made reference to sale going 1 inning of 4 ER, which he never did.Ok, if you are going to say something and then not stand by it and tapdance around it and not answer the obvious elephant in the room.
Why even bring it up?
good comparison against another pitcher considered elite.
would you prefer i use someone not as good?

just following the bread crumbs.
