Very well liked in the locker room, he was just broken by the time he got here.

Filling those offices with hockey guys. I like it.

So funny how many people stop by here and decide they want to stay. Prospal's only been here a year, and wants to stay with the club after he rretires. Klesla still lives here. Tugnutt has a house here. Gord Murphy and Lyle Odelein supposedly still live in the area. Hell even Nash who is supposedly so anxious to run away is staying put this off season.

This must be a nice place. Would be better if we had a hockey team though.

I think your sentiment is right, but the reasons might be wrong...

Howson - Heeeey, Chris. Clarky! Come on in.
Clark - Thanks, I just wanted to stop by and tell you I'm moving out of...
Howson - No, no, no, moving? Wha... No way we're going to let that happen.
Clark - Well, okay, it's just...
Howson - Look... we'll pay double whatever else you get offered. I mean, it's not like I'm spending the money on players' salaries. Am I right?
Clark - (uncomfortable) I... guess...
Howson - To be honest, I just need someone who knows about... ya know, hockey.
Clark - What do you mean, sir?
Howson - (leans in) I... how can I say this... don't really know what I'm doing.
Clark - But you played hockey, sir.
Howson - Sure, yep... played for the Indianapolis Checkers. But when I put that on my resume most people just assume that I worked at a drive-thru burger joint in Indiana.
Clark - Oh.
Howson - Please stay. PLEEEEEEEEEASE, Chris. PLEEEAAAAA
Clark - Okay, fine. Get off the floor, it's just embarassing.
Howson - Yay!! Team staff pizza party at 5, see ya there.

Oh, and to 43. Just joning. :) Like Columbus, been to a Jackets' game, had a great time. Good city, in fact I have a friend who wants me to come work with him there, so who knows...

No worries. I knew it was unpossible the way you laid it out because Howson would have to KNOW he's an idiot.

I can tell you that you would find the cost of living very favorable, but you will have to adjust to being able to see exactly what your taxes are being spent on.

Oh, and the very alien concept of traveling like a mile a minute during "rush hour".

Believe me, I miss Cleveland rents and Cleveland traffic, or lack thereof. I've been looking at buying a condo and I can pay like $150K for a 500sq ft. box in DC, but that's like a 3BR house in a nice neighborhood back in Cleveland. I know Columbus is fairly similar on prices. My friend used to live in the Arts District there - it was very nice. We'll see - maybe someday.
