Simms said. “When you’re just a grunt man, you’re just a grunt man. You sit there (and) observe. No one really wants to hear you talk or (hear) what you have to say about anything.

I think we may have stumbled upon the reason for Simm's comments.

Simms must figure that the more dumb shit he spouts the more relevant he will be. WRONG. He's still a dumb ass!!

So I say he's not the best and you give me Rodgers. Sounds like we agree completely, no?

Both can be debated.
You did not offer anyone. Brady has more rings, more division dominations & conference championships.
Rodgers has a stronger arm right now. And more time remaining.

Rodgers is much better. Brady is in the next group. Where in the next group is up for debate. Some say #2, some say much, much lower. My point was that the only definitive statement that I made was he isn't #1 currently and he is not.

Rodgers is also in his prime. Brady is definitely at the tail end of his career.

Totally agree, but I think the topic (regardless of your feelings on it) according to Simms was Brady TODAY. Rodgers has a long way to go to be seen as Brady's equal for his career...

Even if he is over-rated, he still won 4 championships!!! Cant take that away from him... And I am sure Peyton Manning would love to trade Brady some of his talent just to get one more SB ring...

Brady is one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game, but Simms is talking about right now. I don't see 5 QBs better personally, but I also don't see him as best QB any more.
I still rate Brady as a top 5 QB but not #1 on my list.

Rodgers is probably the best QB right now but needs a couple more SB's to insure his legacy.

Fair or not NFL QB's are rated on number of SB wins with the exception of Eli Manning.

Sure Brady has lost a bit but his strength's were always his smarts and intangibles. He just knows the system so well and doesn't care if he has to throw to the same receiver 5 times in a row...if he's open he'll throw it that's why you see Gronk Edelman Gronk Edelman. What I don't get is why more teams don't force him to go elsewhere because he obviously loves throwing to those two guys....and can struggle when he's not comfortable.

MVP was hard to call in that game because no one really took over if anyone I would have given it to Edelman as well as he was always there for Brady. He made plays all day where Brady slumped at time and turned it over. Of course Butler made the play of the game but not sure if that qualifies because I don't believe he did anything else...

Sure and that's why Rodgers is seen as the #1 QB today but even today, Brady IS still in the top 3. Again. Who is better? Luck? Maybe but no. Wilson? Again maybe but no. Romo? nope. Peyton? No. Brees? Not this year.
