The RG3 trade was all Dan Synder and Shanny was partially on board. I agree with you on the bugled Shanny situation, AH signing but Shanny was calling the FA shots back then. So its not all on Allen. I thought SMGM was replaceable and did not have the impact on the draft like people thought

You don't know if Synder was involved with the dismissal of SMGM. I don't believe Allen has 100% control without going to Synder. Shanny was against the extra 1st round pick we threw in the trade which turned out to be #2 overall. He wasn't against getting RG3. That is bullshit.

I know for a fact the Bill Polian praises Allen for how he handles contracts. Im not in love with Allen but he certainly not the worst GM in the league.

Many fans defend it b/c they understand in the situation we were in. You don't get that so you hate. You keep going back to what happened after 2015 and wont let it go. Is SMith a bad athlete? no. Is he ready to retire like Eli? No. Can we win with SMith? Yes.

KC wasn't in the picture b/c of the huge money demands and he didn't want to come back here on a long term deal. . Fuller and a 3rd rounder pick was the price we had to pay to get out of this crazy situation and get a n Alex Smith who should win games for us this year.

I don't see a rookie QB or FA QB who which we will overpay for that could do better or just as good as what Smith will do for us this year. That is pure hate. That is just hate everything if KC wasn't the QB here.

Actually, because we got Smith, we will need more moves to make up for 5he best slot CB in the league (I would value that as a first round pick) and a third round pick.

We had Fuller for rd round rookie contract price. What is the going rate for best slot corner in the NFL? Hold on...let me google it. 10-14 million per season. So now to replace Fuller with a comparable talent, there goes all your QB savings.

I will say right now we have no chance to get a top 4 QB in this years draft and I don't want Lamar Jackson. So getting Smith is the next best thing.

no he isnt and trading those assets for a darnold or a rosen would have been better then bring in CDC (of course swapping picks is implied ) but darnold , rosen , allen and mayfield have not shown me the are day one starters capable of putting up 10 wins and winning a playoff in year one , which i said from day one when you suggested this nonsense

I want to say something now so that it's on the record, in drafts there are maybe two or three QB's that actually make some noise in the NFL. This years class will probably yield three of them, of the three Lamar Jackson will be one of them, unless he's the latest to be switched to another position. I could be wrong, but if not you heard it from me first.

So those QB's aren't but the FA QB's you mentioned can? lol
