"Many of us"? I don't recall that but maybe you are correct, but I wasn't one of them. I liked Baker & would still not be against giving him another chance. It seems to me that his main issues in TB were getting along with his teammates & I don't believe that was ever an issue w/ the Redskins.

the issue with the Redskins was laziness and lack of caring. Same issues that were there in TB. Allen was wise to let him go.

Saw Baker's release from TB yesterday or the day before on ESPN and they touched on the bad teammate thing. Apparantly a few of his Bucs teammates felt he cost them a victory (can't remember the team it was against) It was said Jameis had to be physically held back cuz he was especially hot.

The thing I recall most about Baker during his Skins time was. He seemed to make a big play on the opposing team's 1st or 2nd possession. A nice sack or tackle for a loss on a RB. After that though his name nevver seemed to be brought up again.

I do not think Mcgee is that bad. He was pretty good in Oakland as well. The knock on him was being able to stay healthy which surprisingly he did for us last season. I think he is a very solid #4 in a 3 man front.

I don't think McGee is "that bad" either however, he showed very little last year. Stayed healthy well, because he really didn't play all that much.

If we can rid ourselves of what I have determined 2 bad contracts, then let's do so. Draft DL early and pick up a FA to replace McClain and keep McGee.

Many of us were against bringing back Baker b/c of these reasons. I remember when shark and skinsdad blasted Allen for signing the mac boys instead of resigning Baker. They were talking about its the same money why not bring him back. Well now there was good reason not to bring him back. God forbid they will give Bruce Allen credit on this one.

Yeah I didnt think he was that bad... I'm not sure what Ziggy Hoods grade was but from what I saw if he is not one of the lowest graded Dline players in the entire league I would be surprised.

Also PFF is meh. Not a big fan. They measure some stuff well but other stuff not so well. Reed Doughty at one point was a top 5 rated safety by PFF

Its common knowledge that the Skins were working off of Scot draft and free agent plan. Every pick but 1 was directly from Scots board. My guess is that 1 pick that wasnt on his board was Ryan Anderson
