Kluber's been pitching at this level for 4 or 5 seasons straight though.
Also the eye test is damn impressive, he has 3 elite pitches that he has excellent control over. Even his change up, is very effective because of his dominance with the other 3 pitches.

Oh, I fuckin love Kluber.

Indian fans know this.


But his back is an issue. It's why I don't think he'll be able to be a HOFer. Even though I can't say there's a better pitcher in baseball. He is great, don't get me wrong.

He won't be a 300 game winner, The HOF usually demands getting close to that magic number, but there have been exceptions and we'll see a lot more because 300 game winners might be a thing of the past.

Scherzer and Kluber are both easily too old for this conversation as well. Off the top of my head Sale, Cole, Syndergaard, Snell come to mind. Maybe deGrom but anyone in his 30's would be hard to chose over someone younger for 5 years, even if they have a longer track record.

200 Ws for him would be impressive.


No matter his W total, I don't see him having enough starts or innings before he's done. Excellent rate stats, but just not enough volume. He started his career too late imo.
