I think this is the end of the road for Chip in the NFL.

Back to college with his flattened ego.

Saban and Spurrier learned the same lesson, college is nothing like NFL. These are grown men getting paid big and wont take shit like college kids. Reminds me of Pitino when he went to the NBA

I recall seeing a sign held up in Jimmy Johnson's inaugural season in Dallas when they went 1-15.

"This ain't college ball Jimmy!!!"

But both those guys are posers.

Jimmy Johnsom never seemed like a hard ass, but quite the opposite. Saban is a great college coach that gets the cream of the recruits yearly, but what an arrogant ,pompous controlling ass when he went to Miami, just like Chip and Spurrier. Chip gets rid of his best plays in Philly and is too stupid to realize the hurry up offense doesn't work in the pros when only a 53 man roster, unlike college when you might have 100 and these kids are late teens , early 20's

You'd think he learned his lesson from the mistakes he made in Philly but that ego of his got the best of him. Interesting to see where he lands in college.

Read in an article about this on the NFL site saying that the 49ers will be owing past coaches like $30 million now. But they said that is to bad as changes are needed.

I think a Juco school near me is hiring. Your right and he looks like a guy that you just can't trust. He doesn't bring guy in his office to tell them face to face that they are moving on, a real snake imo

Jimmy was one that had the "it" factor that could handle the pressures of the NFL. Those other two and Chip thought it would be a walk in the park.

Kelly will take a season off and go back to college when an opening becomes available.

They really struck out with the last 2, don't get me wrong it would take a real good coach upwards of 5 years to get that program back to the top, but these guys were just burying the team, last coach just stood there and sweated

Eagles players are quoted saying he wouldn't acknowledge them passing in the hallways. What an asshole!

How far they've fallen since getting rid of Harbaugh.
