What Me Worry?
I would much rather vacation in San Diego than Los Angeles.I don't expect outsiders to understand the whole SD-LA dynamic. But they may as well have moved to China. San Diego despises LA for the most part.

So being a tenant in Kroenke's stadium is better than this? He walked away from this proposal to pursue a downtown stadium, not wanting the cheaper option in Mission Valley. He didn't leave for a better stadium deal. He left to increase the value of the franchise, i.e. a money grab. Then don't whine over the Chargers leaving for a better deal.
Of course he wanted to increase the value of the franchise. He sounds like a smart businessman. So being a tenant in Kroenke's stadium is better than this? Well he succeeded. It's his business and he has the right to move them and the right to be hated by the city he left behind. Just don't act like it was the fans' or the city's doing. It wasn't.Of course he wanted to increase the value of the franchise. He sounds like a smart businessman.
If the Chargers were that important to the folks in San Diego they'd have come up with a better deal for Spanos.Well he succeeded. So you think cities should just write a blank check? Good luck with that.If the Chargers were that important to the folks in San Diego they'd have come up with a better deal for Spanos.
Know how you feel.Remember there's an entire fanbase here in San Diego that would give their left nut to change places with you. Losing your team is far worse than having them blow a Super Bowl. Our pain stays while you guys get to open a new stadium as NFC Champs in 8 months.
The city offered a very good solution and he turned it down to be a tenant and pay a $650 million relocation. If you can't see a valid reason to be pissed then I can't help you. I'm done. Then don't complain about losing the team to LA.
Yes, but the pundits kept telling us leading up to the SB how much they had improved and a lot of those #s were garbage time #sThe Falcons defense was one of the worst in the NFL in 2016.
They played better than their stats showed. NE just wore them down. That and the NE WRs started to hold onto the ball. The pundits were just hyping up the Falcons to create more interest.
Yes the Falcons defense played well in the 1st half but performed as badly as they had all regular season in the 2nd half. I just had a feeling that the Patriots offense would come alive after halftime. I won $200 on this game so I'm happy about that. They played better than their stats showed. NE just wore them down. That and the NE WRs started to hold onto the ball.
Just enjoying # 5 today.
GO EXPOS!!!!Know how you feel.
RIP
While that may be true, this is a horrible loss.
The Falcons blew their shot at a winning super bowl for the forseable future IMO. They're losing their OC and possibly one of their candidates to replace that outgoing OC to new jobs elsewhere. Blowing a 28-3 second half lead will cripple this teams' psyche, as it should.
Ditto here.
And to add to your point, even when the score was 28-3, the Patriots already had a big lead in time of possession. ATL's defense was on the field way too long before the comeback even started and you could see the effects already setting in when they got flagged for three straight defensive holding penalties on 3rd downs. Meanwhile, the Pats' D was pretty fresh entering the 3rd quarter.
I think that the team's psyche will be fine. They are paid professionals who will move on. They are millionaires whether they win or lose. The fans on the other hand, I feel terrible for them. This is the kind of loss that sticks with you forever as a fan. But whatever. Part of truly being a fan is to enjoy the highs and to commiserate about the lows with your fellow fans.
Yea ,thought the game was put away when it was 28-3.This had to have been posted at 9:00 last night or it's little more than drool off your lip.
NOBODY on earth thought the Pats would come back mid way through the third.
Cripes.
