Perez has a chance to be special.

So does Stanton. He's hit 122 HR's in his first 505 games. I didn't want to give up Perez in any trade, and I still wouldn't for Stanton, but at the time I questioned it.

We have a backup 3b who can split DH duties with Mitch when AB returns

I figured Adduci would still be on the roster and our 4th OF and Moreland can play OF if it is a dire situation.

It's a no brainer..... You play the best player. Kouzmanoff deserves to be primary DH, Choice goes to triple A Round rock, and Moreland is backup DH. Don't platoon, that will cool off Kouz.

That remains to be seen. Both Moreland and Kouz have to sustain it, but I think Kouz is hitting around .400 and Moreland is only .270.... I'd go with Kouz, he adds more depth to the lineup. Most of our strong hitters are lefties as it is with Choo, Fielder, and Martin. With Elvis, Beltre, Rios, and Kouzmanoff.... The lineup would be balanced and 7 deep. All pretty good hitters. Until they prove it with the bat, I'd just go with the best defensive player at 2B and Catcher.

Catcher shouldn't even be a platoon. JP should only be in to give Robinson breaks. JP is just not good, plain and simple. At least there's a little upside with Robinson. Wilson is better defensively I think and he might be the better hitter, with less power.

Sometimes you get lucky and strike gold. The braves almost got a no hitter from Aaron Harang tonight. Harang's situation is similar to Kouzmanoff. Both players are on their respective teams because of injuries. The team has been playing better since Kouzmanoff joined the lineup, he deserved to make the team out of spring training.

Seriously? Would not be pulled from the rotation? Do not understand that. Of course we can't just send the guy to the pen we have to DL them in between.

Maybe JD told Ron Tanner would not be in the starting rotation as he will be going on the DL followed up only by returning to the BP shortly there after.
