keys are we can't let toews and kane get two or three goals a game. I expect they split up kane ans toews to slow down stamkos and killorn and kane vs the triplets! should be a fun skate and gun series.

I hope i'm wrong but I can't see us beating the Hawks, I have them winning in 6. I just think the overall team depth is better than ours and the fact they have been there before and done it gives them the advantage.

Well it's been a very fast game for these first two periods. Bolts have impressed with speed- but Crawford has been great. Now if we can get one past the giant beast man Bishop! (this thread needed a Blackhawks fan!)

I think we tried to sit on that one goal lead with only two shots on goal in the last period and it didn't work. ( It rarely does ). First game to Chicago 2-1.

Really disappointing, you can't sit back on a 1 goal lead. When we played the Rangers in game 7 when kept playing the way we were playing and we got the 2nd goal, that's the way you need to play. Callahan has his breakaway but I think that was the only shot we had in the 3rd before the Hawks tied it up and eventually go on to win it.

The Red Wings & Rangers also opened their series with the Bolts with wins, so we shouldn't be too disappointed. We just don't want to go down 0-2 Sat night.
