Not in game 6. Arietta has been decent this postseason while Tomlin has been elite. His ERA is half of Arietta's. He pitched great in Game 2, but it's unlikely he'll have the run support he did in Game 2.I still think this is going 7. Cubs will be and should be favored the next 2 games. Going to have to play a lot better than they did last night though
Fuck the little bears.
I wonder which the people of Cleveland would prefer if they had to choose one - the Cavs overcoming a 3-1 lead or the Tribe blowing a 3-1 lead.I still think this is going 7. Cubs will be and should be favored the next 2 games. Going to have to play a lot better than they did last night though
Sure. Cubs will still likely be favored. Arrieta was far better in the regular season but Game 6 isn't even guaranteedNot in game 6. We HAD a better OPS, era, and defensive efficiency. Best in MLB in fact for most stats.I don't know how on paper the Cubs are supposed to be better than the Indians, regular season stats maybe but postseason play its not even close.
Then you had to actually face the Indians, who have been demonstrably better in every way.We HAD a better OPS, era, and defensive efficiency. Best in MLB in fact for most stats.
And as is usually the case, the stats are only a good barometer over a long season and completely meaningless in the post season. Right now, Cleveland is just playing better ball across the board, plain and simple. We HAD a better OPS, era, and defensive efficiency. Best in MLB in fact for most stats.
I'm frikken nervous.
He willTheres no tomorrow..........Its 3 straight or we`re gonna be using that old adage:"Wait til next year".
Bryant get your head outta your ass..........!!
That 25 mill a year guy,John lester, needs to pitch like what he`s been known for..........
My expectation is that the Cubs win this and then the Indians clinch in 6 but everything is off the table with these two teams. Both the Indians and Cubs have a level of 'hot' that can let them win 3 in a row. I also saw the Cardinals sweep the Cubs in Wrigley earlier this year so they can certainly get swept at home to the best team in MLB, too.I think Lester and the Cubs will find a way to win tonight. They shouldn't lose 3 in a row at home, should they. I guess anything is possible, though.
I have little faith in the Tribe's chances tonight. As sad as it is, the best thing that could happen would probably be for Bauer to have his finger rip open early so we can bring in the relievers.I think Lester and the Cubs will find a way to win tonight. I honestly want to see Danny Salazar ready in the bullpen, early.I have little faith in the Tribe's chances tonight. As sad as it is, the best thing that could happen would probably be for Bauer to have his finger rip open early so we can bring in the relievers.
