Things do look bleak when you're down 3-1 and some teams do manage to come back. But if the championship doesn't come to the windy city this year, the hurt isn't that bad. Anyone remember the 2005 World Series when the White Sox beat the NL Astros in four games with guys like Paul Konerko, Jermaine Dye, Aaron Rowand? Only been 11 years since the city experienced winning the big event.

Not to ignore the Cubs goal, it's actually Cleveland, hungry since'48, that needs a rousing WS victory parade more than Chicago. Whatever the outcome, it's all good. Two very good central division teams going at it, each with a good excuse for needing the trophy.
