I still think this is going 7. Cubs will be and should be favored the next 2 games. Going to have to play a lot better than they did last night though

Then it's just winning two games. Kris Bryant has to remember he isn't a minor leaguer at some point.

Kris Bryant is the guy that has really surprised me....he has been TOTALLY handled - not only by Miller and Kluber- but by guys like Tomlin in this series too.

on paper this whole series should go to the cubs, but they dont play on paper. Cleveland has done a great job. These cubs really need to put pressure on the outfielders, they really look bad out there. Misplaying balls, bad routes, diving when there is no chance, but the cub hitters cant consistently get the ball to the outfield.

Gotta think last Wrigley home game is going to jack the kids back up, but they are all pressing now. I would have liked them to admit to feeling more pressure earlier in the series, its all gonna happen now. Nobody really giving the cubs a shot to win this anymore, thats when they play their best.

They just have a very young team and that has really showed in this series. We will see the Cubs go deep in the playoffs for many years to come. Remember with Swarber they have 6 starters 24 or younger in their lineup.

I don't know how on paper the Cubs are supposed to be better than the Indians, regular season stats maybe but postseason play its not even close.

I'm not surprised at this thing. The Cubs remind me a little of the 1983 Oilers in hockey. A ton of talent but really young and on the verge of greatness but running into a buzz saw team loaded with a mix of veterans and youthful talent. Don't know if that is a good analogy but it's close. We seem to forget they have started 6 players under 24 in this thing. That just doesn't happen and regardless of talent, young guys have trouble being patient at the plate when the spotlight is on. You have to credit the great pitching of the Tribe as well. They've done this to 3 good offenses now. And I will never discount the presence of Tito Francona steering the ship. I consider him one of the best big game managers in the game today.
