Cub fans...can Schwarber become a usable catcher? Or will he end up being a DH, stuck in the NL, bouncing around from position to position...hoping he produces more runs than his defense gives up?

He has DH written all over him. We said that last year. No one who can bat like that and has had double ligament surgery should be squatting 100x a day for a living.

It was just announced that Kyle will not play outfield as doctors didn't clear him to play since there's too much risk. He will pinch hit.

Iowa has beaten Michigan 5 of the last 6 times they've played and Michigan takes our scrub QBS to start for them. Aldo not WS related but I thought it was neat

He's not a bad catcher from what I've seen last year but with Contreras the future catcher and Rizzo at 1st no where other than OF for him to go. He wasn't bad out there either except in the NCLS last year. I can live with his defense out there I just want him playing for an entire season to see what he can do.

Here we go. Tall order for the Indians to beat Hendricks away with Tomlin on the mound and the wind expected to be blowing out at 20mph. But they're a resilient bunch, and Tomlin held a formidable Blue Jays lineup to one run over five and two thirds in Game 2 of the ALCS.

I had said I wanted Hendricks to pitch game 2, even on three days rest.
I know Arrieta is better on the road and Hendricks is better at home, but:
1. It's easier to catch up to Hendricks' pitches and get them up in the blowing-out wind.
2. Would rather have Arrieta's bat in game 3.
