Get a load of the Chicago police scanner after the game
Chicago Police - Citywide 1, 5, and 6 - Live Audio Feed Web Player Live Audio Feed

Legite sounds like a war zone. Since I tuned in shortly after the game, they've mentioned numerous robberies (one by a guy in Bears gear with two others robbing some guy), flipped taco trucks, flipped TV trucks, 3 deceased and 1 injured via shots in a house, people getting crushed, people climbing light poles and falling off, and a group carrying a light pole down the street with LIVE WIRES hanging out. Thousands of drunks in Wrigleyville basically rioting to celebrate, causing numerous deaths, injuries, and who knows how much in property damage. Fireworks and what not constantly going off in the streets. Absolutely insane stuff going on in Chicago.

Almost forgot to shoutout @OregonDucks. Cubs FTW bitch!

If I had the V cash I would put 5k on him not showing his face on here for the rest of the year. lol

Congrats on the Win. Now we need the Badgers and GB to pull through. I have more faith in the Badgers right now.

Jason Heyward with his biggest contribution of the season. Calling a meeting.

I like how he's talking about the team like he's not a part of it.

I gave him the LVP for the reg season and postseason.

They still need to figure out what to do with Heyward. He's nearly eating a quarter billion yet he's the worst hitter on the team and one of the older players. I guess we just eat the salary and hope people buy many over priced WS hats.

Boo fucking hoo.

Wow you Cub fans are bitter even after winning a ring. Jeez.
win or lose if you mess with the fro you got to go.

Seriously, no matter if we won or lost he's stealing more money than any other player in the MLB right now. Batting like 3/80 in the postseason and .230 in the reg season doesn't make him worth even 1/8th the salary he received. I'm happy we won but that's easily the most worthless contract in the Bigs right now.

If I was Bryant in that situation I would've fucked up so badly and probably become the new Bartman.

That's never happened In a WS.

Pennington is the only position player to pitch in the post season. But never say never, right?

It nearly happened in Game 3 of the legendary 1991 World Series. The Twins were on their last pitcher. In interviews, Tom Kelly said that he'd have only asked Aguilera to pitch one more inning then Dan Gladden would have taken the mound and Aggie would have played the outfield.

He probably left the stadium. You know the rule give LBJ a dollar he gives you 3 quarters.

What does Cleveland expect? They don't have a quarterback.

Epstein is a guaranteed HOF'er. If for nothing else being that mastermind of the Red Sox and Cubs teams that broke their respective curses.

Drank way too much. Bought a 40 dollar hat. Gotta get up for work in 4 hours. Finally settled down enough to go to bed.

Best night of my life.

And for the guys who were questioning why the Cubs carry three catchers on the roster:
All three had RBIs tonight, including the game winner.

Man, if any of my teams ever win a championship again I pray to god I'm not thinking about contracts two hours after the game ends.
