So winning a cup in a year where you're the odds on favorite due to a completely stacked roster makes you a dynasty now? Then losing like 6 players form that team due to overpaying a few others makes you what... poorly managed?

My idea of a modern day franchise is a team that for a period of 10 years finishes first in their division at least 7 times, pushes to the 2nd round of the playoffs every year, to the CF 4-5 times, and wins the cup 2-3 times. Just my $0.02

there is really no dynasty in hockey anymore. the last one was the wings in 97-02

there is too much parity nowadays for there to be a true dynasty. it's really no coincidence that there hasn't been back to back champions in 13 years

I was just watching that on NHL On the Fly and Kelly Chase cracked me up with the line "Now that's a great looking hit' as the Stars Ice Girls were scrambling to avoid a big pane of glass.

i'm still kinda pissed at florida for letting the hawks get out from under that albatross of a contract for Soupy.
yeah, i know it was tallon's mistake in the first place, but that one was so horrid it should have crippled the hawks for years
