I mean...Danny Trevathan had some serious injuries and still gave us some great years in their wake...You never know. Dude is young so I'm not about to deem him the next Kevin White.

True but back issues are something completely different to an OL. When your whole game is about getting your pads lower than your opponent and winning physical one on one battles...back injuries can derail careers completely.

Hope he recovers and comes back strong next season. But right now trading up to get this kid looks awful.

Yeah, BWW took the words out of my mouth. Back issues are a bigger deal for an O-lineman. Major back surgery this early on is not a good sign. Could he overcome it? Sure. I am by no means writing off his career. However, there's no denying that it's troublesome.
