Winning 3 of 4 to end your season and beating your rival in a "winner take all" game would certainly not be backing in. Regardless of how bad the Philly game was.

Well, for starters, I was talking about fantasy football.

But if you don't think we are backing in, yer high. It took a bed-shitting by Detroit, and a 6 week absence from Aaron Rogers, and it STILL comes down to the last game of the season. IF we win, and I cannot stress that IF enough, we will be 9-7 and in my book, 1 win above .500, is backing into the playoffs.

it was terrible officiating, But if we just changed one play, THE Stupid forced fumble James Anderson just looks at the ball then a cheap GB TD, huge swing in that game . Likely we would have snuck in to the playoffs.

Bad season but i give alot of credit to Trestman for getting our Offense going good, and beating GB once then we were in the game till the last minute in game 2. Its been awhile since we scored 27- and 28 points in games against the Packers in one season.actually only 2 other times in 94 years. I think we have shown we can score against most teams multiple TDs, Now its just rebuilding the defense, But we are on the way up now.The thing i hate about giving tucker another chance is if he proves he isnt right for the job next season it will be too late and we will be stuck with a bad defense again. If we remember we started out the season giving up too many points, which might have been ok if we would have started to get control as the season went on, but it went down hill . I know he didnt have much to work with , i am not talking about giving up points but stop the RUN! we couldn't do it since the skins game, I give credit in the last game our defense actually looked alive and got some great stops against the run. especially playing against a team who can air it out at anytime putting alot of pressure against our back end of the defense.

Wright and Conte seemed fairly solid before this last season? I wonder how much the poor play from the front 7 factored in to their poor play?

A lot, and I wouldn't call it poor play as much as I would all the piled up injuries up the gut. When you're starting back ups to back ups, life isn't good for Safeties.

The poor play as you say from the front 7 , just exposed their ( the safeties ) talents.
You had a Strong safety that missed a slew of tackles on running plays . You had a free safety that fell for every ball fake, and was rarely there when the CB was expecting him.
Just would like to see a pair of safeties w/ some football sense. Our guys didn't have it.
