Detroit takes a strangle hold on the series 3-1 with an impressive 2-0 win at the Joe .......... "keep the pedal to the metal."

Wait...WAIT. There's a possibility of a World War 3 Pens-Wings SCF.

Actually, even if it were to come to that...you guys are too different of a team now. I don't hate the Wings even a little.

I mentioned it before this game that the powerplay would have to cash in eventually. Detroit's did and chicago's didn't. Pretty much the difference in the game

Game 4 Three Stars: Red Wings 2, Blackhawks 0

1. Detroit’s Jimmy Howard: The undeniable No. 1 star for the second straight game. Nobody had shut out Chicago all season long until Howard stopped all 28 shots Thursday night. He’s now allowed just two goals on 88 shots in the last three victories. The Blackhawks were having no success trying to fire the puck past Howard’s glove side the last couple games so they tried to go five-hole and low stick side. It didn’t matter. Howard is emerging as a goalie capable of carrying his team a long, long way in these playoffs.

2. Chicago’s Corey Crawford: He did what he could to give the Blackhawks a chance to tie up the series. For the most part, Crawford matched Howard save for save all night – except for one. He finished with 25 saves. The Wings’ second goal was an empty-netter.

3. Detroit’s Jakub Kindl: The young defenseman’s first playoff goal in his career was the game-winner to give the Wings a three-games-to-one lead in the series. It came with one second remaining in a power play, breaking Chicago’s streak of killing 30 straight penalties. Kindl drove a slap shot, off the post and in, from the top of the left face-off circle midway through the second period.

I just saw the Toews Douchery moments of the game.

If I were Chicago's coach, I'd rip that "C" right off his chest and tell him he can have it back after he becomes a man.

Well.....Q defended him publically, maybe a little too much considering the brevity of the situation. Given Q's butthurt history with the Red Wings, I cannot imagine he wouldn't be a little more forceful behind closed doors.

But I was trying to envision Bowman & Yzerman in the identical situation, and WWSD? ;)

Speaking of Yzerman, that punk kid Toews wears #19. Someone ought to tell him something about Yzerman.
