You cannot pass on Young for Thomas. Havoc wreaking pass rushers is almost as important as a franchise QB and more important than a shutdown corner of a left tackle.

Lawernce Taylor or Anthony Munoz?
J.J. Watt in his prime or Trent Williams?

I see your point. They are talking about Youngs' talent level like Mack. So this should be a slam dunk. But what if Thomas becomes the next Orlando Pace?

Give me the dominant edge guy over the LT anyday. How many LT's have won an MVP?

The draft is a crap shoot, but Young in a Gregg Williams defense with Sweat, Foster and Kerrigan, Payne, Ioannidis, and Allen up front, with Landon being used the way Gregg is using Adams, could really turn this thing around.

A bunch of people who swear now that they wanted Herbert the whole time might need to check this thread. Lol

Anyways, the point of me pulling up this thread is, what does this coaching staff do with Chase if he comes back and starts freelancing again and fks up the defense?

Does Ron have the stones to sit him if need be?

I think Young was probably the correct pick based on everything we knew. He just hasn't played to that level, especially last year. I am hoping a year of watching will make him a better football player. I don't think we see whatever version of Chase he turns out to be until next year because of the seriousness of the injury. I also hope I am wrong.

Is it fair that he will be back in 2 weeks?
Whenever he comes back I just hope he plays the scheme. I don't see him pulling that shit he pulled last year with RK in the locker room. Would love to see him out there vs. Minnesota, but if they do activate him, it's Eagles for sure. 21 days.
