I would have liked to have seen how being sent down 2 or 3 years ago would have affected Odor.

He was sent down to AAA in the first third of 2015, and he had the two highest OPS seasons of his career that year and 2016. Then he fell off the cliff in 2017, but had a rebound year (for him) in 2018.

Odor thought he was too good for the minor league life style and pretty much forced the rangers to let him rehab at the major league level. Which made no sense at all.

I was talking about the last time they had the ability to send him down, when they didn't need his permission. Not a rehab assignment, but a demotion.

Yes perhaps his own stubbornness derailed his career. He is a powderkeg and more talented than Solak. But let’s see how Solak adjusts. I just really want better defenoup the middle and Solak is not that
