Yup. Im just hoping that making him be the distributor will relieve some of the issues coming with him playing off the ball.

It could but it also could screw with him as well. We Shall see how it all turns out

Given that fact, I don't see the urgency for the type of trade you're lobbying for.

No.

He's Bi-Polar. When things aren't going well, he becomes a pouter. When things start cranking up, he tries to be a Nash/Lebron creation. He doesn't have the mental sturdiness to be a true PG. If he could watch a Dennis Johnson 8 hour tape and digest fifteen minutes of it, he might be able to handle the responsibility for 24-30 minutes a game.

Simply put: PG isn't a weak spot of our team... we have 3 viable options.

... if anything, we could use an upgrade at the traditional 4... (Tatum isn't a true 4, but in this era of small ball it works some).

But all that said, depth is significantly better than last year already.

I think the C's are saving their trade ammo for a bonafide star... (something every team needs).

A stretch 4 would be nice. Al is going to play some 4 against bigger guys (Giannis, Randle, John Collins etc.)

Hernangomez can do a little of that too.

There's enough there for now. Not sure who they can get that's better and gettable without messing up their big game hunting.

I like Matthew’s better, but Parker fits the roster a little better.

I’m not sure Bruno ever plays without a huge leap forward

Celtics play Orlando in Boston tonight. !st Preseason game.

Reading an article in this morning's Boston Globe (Had my first paper delivered this morning)

Ime say that he will be flipping players more than flapjacks to see who plays with who the best. He also said that he might start three entirely different groups for each preseason game. Schroder and Parker will be getting minutes. He warned the media not to make anything of the starting lineups or groupings until the season starts.

Tonight, four of the starters will be Tatum, Brown, Smart and Robert Williams. Ime said he wasn't sure if he would start Horford and move Brown to SG or start a guard.

I'll be watching tonight.

Honeslty it could, and should depend on the matchup.

Smaller teams Tatum should start at the 4, against bigger teams (like Mil with Freak, NYK with Randle, Atl with collins etc) Al should get the nod.
