Nah, meniscus is nowhere near as bad as and acl or mcl. I suspect his recovery time will be equivalent to Russell Westbrook's ~ 3-4 months. Its a good thing its so early in the season. Bulls fans had just better hope Chicago brass doesn't decide to blow up the whole damn thing because of Rose's setback. But Rose will be back around 3/1/14. Word.

Na 4-6 months is more likely and even if it is 3-4 months who is going to trade for Rose who looked like trash if he will not be playing until at earliest at the March

Even with the minimum of 3-4 months, that places Rose back in March at the best. He is done for the year if he is smart - then he can continue working on health and therapy and explore other options outside of the NBA rules with medicines normally not allowed and still have plenty of time to come off of them and get them out of his system before being drug tested.

Season is over in April though - so by the time you add training and reconditioning - there is no way in hell Rose gets back in time to do any one good -unless he gets bounced to the D league or the WNBA where he belongs. With the new order in the world, he can put his women panties on and declare himself as a woman

The team just announsed that Derek Rose is done for the season - so you might as well waive him. I might consider an upgrade for a better center though for one of my guards. Not interested in Andrew Bynum - even if he comes back and does 20 and 10 - the fantasy spin says it's better to let someone else take the risk.
