Do Cardinal fans really trust him anymore? This is an embarrassment.

I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt and blame it on his injured thumb

It's one game, and sometimes a game is so unbalanced you cannot fairly evaluate it. This is one of those games. He'll be fine next season.

I don't know. How do you have confidence going forward after a loss like this?

I am concerned.

Yeah man. 7 turnovers. That's hard to swallow. But they are pros. They should be able to put it behind them. I don't trust Palmer, but I believe that he is your best chance to win. Not going to find anything better any time soon.

Palmer had been turnover prone much of his career until the last couple of seasons. Looks like he reverted to his old form at a most inopportune time.

The Cards needed OT to beat an injury riddled Packers team last week.

He got his face rubbed in the dirt in a historical way and he's going to be 37 next year. He's done. Dumb contract.

He'll be fine next season.. Carolina is just a good team and I expect them to do the same to Peyton Manning.

He was pretty crappy versus Green Bay as well for most of the game

He did play better later on in the game, but Fitzgerald really bailed him out most of the time.

But, playing like ass versus a much better CAR on the road was a bit beyond Fitz' help.

I think people are underestimating how important the index finger is for throwing accuracy. That's the last finger to leave the ball and imparts the spin if you can't put enough pressure on it the balls are going to miss their target often. I kinda knew after his first poor outing with that bad finger the Cards wouldn't go all the way, especially when some major pieces were missing on the defensive side to boot.
