No it doesn't..... But Palmer has quite a shitty record for a guy that was considered to be an elite qb for most of his career. The only other guy that I can think of that had such a horrible record and such a good reputation was Archie Manning. You have any other historical comparisons?

You'd be hard-pressed to find many worse organizations in the decade prior to Carson showing up (minus 2 years with Warner for Arizona). Oakland and Cincinnati definitely round off the bottom.

In addition to those bottom feeder teams, aside from 1.5 years, Carson has also had the luxury of playing in the best division of football, by far.

Not sure there ARE any historical comparisons for that.
