Last ranked defense.

It's a miracle they've won 3 games.

Edit: The players aren't as bad as the coaches. With the same roster minus McFadden for 10 games and a midseason trade for Carson, they went 8-8. Rookie GM. Rookie head coach. Rookie DC straight out of the college ranks (to put it in perspective, they had a better defense last season under Chuckie Bresnahan). And a Brat-like retread of an OC.

Not to mention he turned his back on much bigger money for this. He's the big loser in this deal.

If he ws going to Oakland (a team who hasn't had a winning season in a decade, who had an owner ruining their future cap to squeeze out some .500 seasons, etc) for glory and success he lost..

if he just wanted to finish up his career anywhere other than the Bengals, he got his wish

Unfortunately, Oakland has the tie-breaker against both Jacksonville and Kansas City, otherwise I may have given them a chance to get the #1 seed. They do have games against Carolina and Philly, the only other teams with the same record as them.

I could see them land anywhere between 3 and 7 with higher odds on 3. They're a mess.

They will. They finally activated him for the first time yesterday. I was surprised he didn't get any snaps. The GM went on record last week saying they're going to start giving him snaps to begin assessing him to see what they have, and that he may start the last couple of games.

Coming from the guy who is suggesting the likes of Couch, Russel, etc. are better than Carson.

I'm pretty sure there isn't much you have to offer.

Carson is not having a good game, not by any means. But he isn't getting any help either.

Aside from the fact that I thought the "fumble" was textbook tuck rule, his RT completely missed a block on that play.

The interception was horrendous.

The Raiders are awful.... Bad coaching and bad players. But I can't imagine Palmer landing in another starting situation. I think he's finished.
